Bone Marrow Transplant A bone marrow transplant also known stem cell transplant is a medical procedure that replaces damaged or diseased bone marrow with healthy stem cells. This treatment is primarily used for patients with certain types of cancer and blood disorders, including leukemias, lymphomas, aplastic anemia, and some solid tumors.

Types of bone marrow transplants:
