Lung Cancer Treatment in India

Lung Cancer or lung carcinoma is a malignant tumor characterized by uncontrolled cell growth in tissues of the lungs. This is usually caused by the genetic alteration of lung cells, which in many cases are due to environmental attacks such as cigarette smoke and exposure to toxic substances.

Types of lung cancer :

• Radiation therapy High-energy rays that are direct at the body to kill cancer cells.
• Immunotherapy Increasing the immune system's ability to attack cancer. Drugs that target specific genetic mutations in cancer cells.
